Who we are

School of Awareness operates this website to offer a free awareness course, applications for access, and related services.

Data we collect

  • Account data — email, display name, and authentication data when you sign up or sign in.
  • Application data — information you submit when applying for course access or a scholarship.
  • Course progress — lessons completed and access status.
  • Contact messages — name, email, and message content when you use the contact form.
  • Internal analytics — aggregated counts derived from the data above. We do not use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential — Firebase Authentication uses storage needed to keep you signed in. These are required for the service you request.

Media (optional) — Embedded Vimeo videos may set third-party cookies. Videos load only after you accept media cookies or click “Load video” on a player.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we remember your preference.

Legal basis (EU/EEA)

We process account and application data to perform our contract with you (providing access to the course). Contact messages are handled based on your request. Internal analytics rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the service is used, using data we already store — without third-party tracking.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact page.

Data retention

We keep account and course data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
